How this site's figures are read and checked
This site reads public pages of cTrader Copy and of the FSCA, saves them, counts what they print and dates each reading. Latest reading: 6 November 2026. It has audited no provider's record, runs no leaderboard and ranks nothing.
What is read
Five pages of ctrader.com/copy (the front page, the broker list and the gold, bitcoin and euro symbol pages), four help pages of help.ctrader.com/ctrader-copy (the overview, investing in strategies, the strategy page and fees calculation), and the news list at fsca.co.za/Latest-News. Pages were requested one at a time, about eight seconds apart, from a server, with no login and no cookie set. Nothing was refused.
What is counted
From the broker list: the number of entries, the copy flag, the printed maximum leverage, minimum deposit, base currencies and regulators. From the symbol pages: the 20 strategy cards with their printed return, minimum investment, creation date, symbols and the 29-point curve. From the fees page: the three caps. From the FSCA list: the number of rows and the words in titles.
How it is re-checked
A second script reads the saved files by another route and recounts the entries, the flags, each card's figures and each curve's largest fall, then compares. Five defects planted on purpose (a shifted return, a flipped flag, a changed fall, a changed cap, a dropped card) were each caught. The re-check proves the copying of figures, not the accuracy of the source.
What a figure is not
A printed return is the provider's own record as the platform shows it. It is not a result a follower obtained and not an expectation. The period of the return on a card is not stated on the pages read, and this site does not guess it. The 29-day curve is a short window and is used only to count.
What is missing
Strategy pages (fees, drawdown, trades) and the Start copying button sit inside the application and need a login; they are out of scope. The FSCA scan reads titles only. Fills are not public, so the gap between provider and follower is not measured.
Corrections
A figure that does not match the page it cites is a defect. Write to the address on the contact page with the figure and the page, and the figure is changed in place with the date of the change.
